Richard Mason is an American Film Pundit, Entrepreneur, and Singer-songwriter born in Miami, Florida. Mason started his show business career on FOX’s television competition show ‘The X Factor’ (2011) where he competed in a vocal group with two other friends. The group went on to the Top 8 finals in their respected group category mentored by Paula Abdul & Simon Cowell. Shortly after appearing on ‘The X Factor’, Mason and another member of the group decided to continue a path in the music industry by creating a new music group called NightRunners.
NightRunners released a self-titled EP in 2014 and a music video for their debut song ‘Single’. In 2016 the group disbanded to pursue other ventures. Mason grew interest in the production aspects of the television show ‘The X Factor’ and decided to dive further into Film & TV as a freelance writer.
In 2019, Richard launched MovieWire, an entertainment website covering movie news and movie reviews. He also launched Masonic, a full-service digital marketing agency dominating the Music, Film & TV, Hospitality, and Healthcare industry.
